This should be purchased as travel insurance. It takes effect once you have paid in full. If something comes up, you can use your change for any reason as a voucher to save the amount you have paid usable on future dates. You can change roommates or use in the future. If the CFAR is not purchased you will forfeit your money if you are unable to make the trip within the last 30 days.
